Due to unstable air flow, the alternating current output of the wind turbine, which varies from 13 to 25V, must be rectified through a charger and then charged into a battery to convert the electrical energy generated by the wind turbine into chemical energy. Then use an inverter power supply with a protective circuit to convert the chemical energy in the battery into AC 220V mains power to ensure stable use.
During the operation of the fan, some faults often occur, which must be dealt with on site, and sometimes routine maintenance work can also be carried out.
Firstly, it is necessary to carefully check whether the safety platform and ladder inside the fan are secure, whether the elevator is working properly, whether the lighting inside the tower is good, whether the surface pressure of the hydraulic station is normal, whether the hydraulic oil and gearbox oil levels are in the normal position, whether there is wear between rotating parts, and whether the indications of the gear oil and hydraulic oil filter are in the normal position and operating sound. Then listen for any discharge or abnormal sounds inside the control cabinet. If there is sound, the wiring terminals may be loose or have poor contact. Carefully check whether the sound during yaw is normal, whether there is dry grinding sound, whether there is abnormal sound in the gearbox, whether there is abnormal sound between the brake disc and brake pad, whether there is abnormal sound in the working sound of the generator and bearings, and whether the cutting sound of the blades is normal. It is important to clean up the work site after work to observe if there are any leaks in future work.
Although the above daily maintenance items are not very complete, as long as we can be careful and attentive every time, we can prevent them in advance, discover and handle them in a timely manner, prevent hidden dangers, and improve the integrity and usability of the equipment.
